Favorite current off-Broadway show
I've been on Broadway Box a lot but it looks like
It's too expensive for us to see Billy Elliot or the other "sold-out" shows. Now I am concentrating on Off Broadway. We will be in NY first week in October. We are in our 70's..
Any sugggestions?..thank you

I enjoyed 'Ruined.' It won a Pulitzer. I'm also seeing 'Tin Pan Alley Rag' soon which I heard was very entertaining. 'Mary Stuart' has great performances. All of these are discounted, but it's too early to buy for October.
'Broke-ology' will be opening at Lincoln Center on Oct 5th. Tix go on sale 8/16. It had played at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and I googled those reviews. They were excellent despite the odd name of the play.

'Ruined' will be closed by the time you visit.
Tanguera looks very interesting. I hadn't heard about it, but I think I might give it a try as long as it's discounted. I think this was the only one that fits your schedule. How long will you be visiting?
