The best area to stay in Panhandle

Anyone help with advice as which area to stay in Florida Panhandle for two weeks in May - prefer quite village/beach area? We are a forty something married couple.
Regards.

I could recommend any of the beaches from Pensacola to Destin. We were in Navarre last year and it was not crowded. Destin is also nice but more crowded. Pensacola we liked but also more crowded. I believe the breaches at Rosemary, Seaside, have good reputations and have your village feel but we have not stayed there. Check out: www.vrbo.com

we spent time in the Florida Panhandle a few years ago. Do you have any special requirement since you are a married couple? Is there something about places to stay for single people in their forties which you are not comfortable with?

Seaside is great. You will love it. You can rent houses in the town. Or nearby in Rosemary. I think the beaches there are some of the nicest in Florida.
