Telluride_Teens

Hi there!

Headed to Telluride, CO with 6 teens (yay for me…lolol). And so I'm looking for stuff to do in the evening other than just trying to make for long dinners. As if that wasn't task enough, one of boys (15y/o) broke his collar bone snowboarding last weekend. Any suggestions on stuff I can hook him up with that he can do while we are all on the mountain. Only thought I had was dog sledding.

Any thoughts on spots for dinner for a group of rowdy teens would be appreciated too. We are staying at the Hotel Madeline so places we can get to with driving would be perfect.

Thanks all!

There's movie ,theatre, there Opera House which "may" have shows appropriate/interesting for teens.
There is a high school in town ,that "may" have open gym. The Telluride Voodoo Lounge Youth Teen Center, Wilkinson Library.

Person with broken collar bone should NOT go on dog sled ride - ouch! Lots of bouncing around.

Eating - Steaming Bean, Baked In Telluride, Butcher and the baker, Brown Dog Pizza,
Maggie's , Oaks, The Fat Alley BBQ, Tequila's

FYI...there was nothing in fact to do. We were at the Hotel Madeline, and I booked the private room at the pizza place in Mountian Village...there were pool and foosball tables and few screens so we had the Olympics on and just hung out with pizza.

Sorry it didn't turn out better. Telluride is a very small town and not like bigger ski towns in Colorado with tons of evening things to do beyond dinner, bars and some music. Durango would have had more options for your group of boys.

Did you take the gondola down into Actual town of Telluride? It's free and easy to do and does offer a few more options but as I noted above, lots of "maybes" on my suggestions.

The town of Mountain Village itself ( distinct from Town of Telluride ) is pretty small and quiet.
