We will be staying at the Tampa Marriott Waterside for a few days next week and are looking for a good restaurant that is walkable. Seafood is preferable.

Gallaghers on Channelside Drive is about 1/2 mile walk. It is a bit pricey. The Colonnade on Bayshore Blvd. is an old established restaurant and is more moderately priced (has a great view of Tampa Bay.) It is further away, but a healthy person could walk it, going straight down Bayshore Blvd. Maybe about 4 miles.

Thanks nolefan1. We are there for a trade show and one of our dinner guests had 2 heart surgeries in December so I appreciate the info about the distance.

Jackson's Bistro which is at Harbor Island is a great place too. Jackson's is even closer than Channelside.

The best local seafood is at Oystercatchers near the Grand Hyatt. It's not walking distance but the sunsets are worth the cab fare. For walking distance, try The Spain Restaurant or The Fly or Mise En Placed neither are seafood but both have good local flair and fare.
