Tahoe Sunday vs Monday

I am curious if there are parts around the lake or towns near Tahoe that are closed on Sunday.

I am doing research, but thought I would ask here too. WE are staying in South Lake Tahoe, but we will be taking a trip to Truckee and going around the lake. Trying to decide if there is a better day to do this...Sunday March 18th or Monday or Tuesday??

Thanks for any suggestions.

It's a tourist place. Nothing is closed on Sunday (well maybe not nothing, but almost....).

Most everything will be open on Sunday.

I would suggest Monday or Tuesday just because on Sunday you might be fighting (traffic wise) all the weekend skiers going home.

California and Nevada are not known for things being closed on Sundays Anything you could want as a tourist will be open.

Some places have extended hours on weekends. And if something closed (to everybody's surprise!) you don't need them if they don't want your money.
