Swimming in Vegas - Early May

My husband and I will be visiting Las Vegas for the first time the first week of May. Will it be too cold to swim then? Thanks for answering and feel free to offer any tips/suggestions for first-timers.

I think it should be pretty warm then, I've been in early May a few times and I definitely got a vicious sunburn at least once.

We just got home from Vegas and there were quite a few people in the pools today. Temps were only in the low 70's at most but still swimmers and sunners

We have been there the first week of May, and it was definitely warm enough for swimming.

Here's my tip/suggestion: We really enjoyed the day we rented a convertible and drove out to the Valley of Fire State Park (about an hour away from LV). The views were gorgeous, and we got out and hiked a little bit. If you decide to do this, TAKE WATER with you. We kept thinking we'd buy water at the next stop, and pretty soon we were past all the stores. We would have enjoyed it more if we had water with us. But anyway, that's my suggestion!
