Favorite Vegas Cirque de Soleil Show??
For you Cirque de Soleil fans out there: What is your favorite CdS show in Vegas? If you could see only one while you were there, which would it be?
I saw "Mystere" a few years ago. I have to admit I went not thinking I would like it, but I left having loved the show, amazed by what the performers could do, enchanted by the music, and a converted Cirque de Soleil fan. Now I'm going back to Vegas and find that there are several CdS shows available. Favorites anyone?

Since it appears you may be new here...may I suggest that you do the following:
in the search box at the top of the page, type in Cirque Vegas. There have been lots of similar inquiries on here lately asking the same thing.
Hope this helps...

Ka??? It was our 4th Cirque show and we absolutely HATED it! When the bartender told us it'd be a good time to take a restroom break when the baton twirler came on, we should've known. A baton twirler in Cirque???
Anyway, my rant is over
I loved both Mystere and O, and also Allegria, which is long gone but was our first experience with this fabulous troupe.
Anyway, my rant is over

I love Mystere and O, but I was bored during KA. I couldn't wait to out of there. I guess that is why there are so many different shows. What appeals to one person will be the least favorite of another.

Thanks for your input everybody! I did discover the "search" function of the forum and checked there as well. Vive la difference, huh?
While on the the subject of mea culpas, let me correct my use of "de Soleil" rather than "du Soleil". I guess I've been thinking too much of "Le Tour," lately.
I think we will see "O" this time. Although I'm curious about what Cirque du Soleil would do with Beatles music!
Thanks again.

I would have LOVED to have seen "O" simply because of the water activities. We saw Mystere. I am seem to the the odd one but it was not for me. I saw LOVE and LOVED it. Those are the only 2 I have to compare.

I guess I've reached the point where I know I love the creative energy and style of the Cirque shows. It is hard to say which one is the best -- each is slightly different.
Previously we had seen Mystere and O each twice. O had been my favorite -- just because of the additional setting of the water -- and the amazing ability of the performers to seemingly sink or rise from the water automatically breathing -- something I was so aware of sitting way down front.
Now we've also seen Ka and LeReve (and although LeReve is not Cirque de Soleil, it might as well be.
So what's now my favorite? I don't know. Possibly Ka. The vertical stage scenes were absolutely astounding. The creatures emerging from the sand were amazing. I really loved the show, but I was a bit distracted sitting there for 90 minutes wondering how anyone in the world could have sat there and been bored! I can't imagine what would excite that type of person if this didn't.
LeReve may have topped O in the overall production, but it's hard to compare when O was the first water show I saw.
In any case, my personal view is -- you can't lose seeing any of them.
By the way, I mentioned to several people (mainly servers) my disappointment that LOVE was dark during our stay, but nearly all mentioned that the overall reports have not been strong.

I liked Mystere much better than "O" but I have to admit I'm just not a Cirque person. I'm bored after 20-30 minutes.
As a Beatle fan, LOVE was wonderful for me, but I know lots of Cirque fans who didn't care for it because it's not as acrobatic or amazing as the other shows. For me the music quality, the Beatle songs, and the interpretation of their history in dance and other movement made it my favorite Cirque show.
