How long will you be staying? It's going to be awfully cold for the next couple of days but warming up into the 60s by the end of the week. Because of the holidays, the hours may be different on the tours. Also, if you're hoping to see alligators, they might be hibernating now. However, the swamps are still interesting and beautiful. Have a great trip!

We did a swamp tour the 2nd week of November and it was quite cool. We didn't get to see any alligators, just birds and raccoons. The boat we were on had windows that could come down if it got too cool. We did enjoy the scenery and the info provided by our guide.

Now that is something I would use for an excuse to go back to New Orleans - of course, I've used every one in the book to keep going back, ie: we missed a cooking class, we didn't see Mardi Gras World.......whatever it takes to get me back to The City! Truthfully a swamp tour now would probably be interesting, but not as good as it would be in the spring or early summer. Enjoy New Orleans!
