Stranded--Last Minute SF Help Needed!

Well, fellow fodorites, I'm stranded here in SF for a bit longer than anticipated due to the blizzard back east. My early flight is no more, and now I'm on a redeye leaving at 10:30 tonight. I need something to do to kill the afternoon, and it's raining all day here in SF. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Best freind in the opposite position, stranded on the east coast trying to get to SFO for a flight to Maui.

Say eight Hail Marys and hope like hell your flight isn't canceled.

Take BART back into the city and do something indoors--Asian Art Museum, MOMA.

There's the museum of modern art (looks like there's a Diane Arbus exhibit going on) or go out for dim sum at Yank Sing. Ferry Plaza farmer's market would be fun, even in the rain, if the vendors are there.

Second kikahead's suggestion of SF Museum of Modern Art or the Asian Art Museum.

Right across from SF MOMA is the Metreon, in case you have more time to spend.

When you get tired of walking, go up to the top of the Marriott nearby and have a drink/dinner and enjoy the view.

If you are flying into Boston, you may not be leaving tonight either - they keep increasing the duration and amount of snow from storm.

Take a cab to Hillsdale Mall and kill time there. It's an enclosed mall. Maybe you can do some Christmas shopping.
