Star Trek Experience @ LV Hilton
Another question...now that the monorail is up & running, we're going to visit LV Hilton to visit the Star Trek experience while in Vegas this weekend....we're going Saturday...
I think it opens at 11 so we want to be there...I imagine there will be a looooong line...any idea how long the wait is to enter the exhibit? I visited the website and each attraction is about 20 minutes each but as I've stated in previous posts, we have early dinner reservations so is it worth going on Saturday or would Friday be much better?
Thanks!

I'm not a HUGE trekkie, but my friends and husband are...
Personally, I liked the Borg "ride" better. Maybe because I'm rather short and my feet didn't touch the ground, but I really got thrown around alot on the Klingon "ride" and felt bruised.
If you want to buy the picture they take, make sure you know that the first photo is $20 and any additional photos purchased in your group (can be different people) are $10, and they will color correct it.
Also, food at Quark's better than I expected. Nice salads and fun foofy drinks.
YMMV, Racy

We ended up going on Saturday morning. We got up and out early, had breakfast at the Paradise Cafe at LV Hilton and then went on the attraction a little 11am...no line at all.....we paid $25 for both attractions...they're having some kind of promotion-2 for the price of 1 and then we got a $5 discount because we had monorail tickets.
As for the attractions themselves, they were both fun but I enjoyed the Klingon one a tad better....more simulation. I'm not a Trekkie-not even a Star Trek fan but the attractions were fun.
If you are going to Vegas before the end of the month, you get $5 off the ticket price to the Star Trek experience if you ride the monorail...be sure to show proof when you buy ticket for the experience.

FYI - You also can get a 2-for-1 coupon for the Star Trek Experience just by signing up for a LV Hilton players club card. You just go through the casino toward the sports book area and stop at the guest services desk to get it.
