I'll repay the endorsement. Robhart is correct about moving into a better seat once you have a ticket. This is a commonly accepted practice at shows that have plenty of empty seats. You are free to move down to an obviously unsold seat in the mezzanine/balcony area. However, sometimes you'll be stopped from doing this in the orchestra.
