Special Anniversary Trip Help

My wife and I will be celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary next January and I was wondering if anyone had any great ideas for a one or less getaway that would be very romantic. We live in Pennsylvania but would entertain any trip. Please give me some great ideas!

For our Honeymoon we went to Savannah GA. We thought it was VERY romantic!!
We stayed at the Ballastone Inn. Also Very romantic.
Savannah is beautiful and close to Tybee Island, Hilton Head,a couple hours from Charleston....
We loved the area and plan to go back every year for our anniversary.
There are quite a few threads on here about Savannah.. why not check them out.

On our 30th, my husband took me to Paris (my first trip to that city) as a complete surprise. He wouldn't tell me where we were going until we reached the departing airport, there he gave me a gift wrapped box with the Fodor's Guide to Paris inside. What a week! Read my report on the European board here. "Our Romantic 30th Anniversary".

You don't say whether you're looking for a domestic destination, or something more exotic.

For my 20th anniv., we did a special weekend in NYC, staying at the Plaza, and it was wonderful. We were upgraded to a suite, and it made the stay quite special. We were even fortunate to catch an opera singer suddenly decide to perform, while dining in the Palm Court.

For our 25th, we went to Aruba. The island is a wonderful getaway destination. It's one of the few islands I look forward to returning to.

For our 30th, we went to Hawaii, but I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you can stretch it to at least a week and a half.

With one week, leaving from PA, I'd consider coastal Maine or Charleston or NYC for domestic destinations.

For international destinations, I'd definitely consider Paris, London, Aruba, Curacao, or Bermuda.

Too cold in January for Bermuda. One of the Caribbean islands might be a good choice, as it will be cold in Europe as well.

Fisher Island in Florida is supposed to be very lovely.

For our 20th we did a cruise. January is a great time to cruise the caribbean because there are fewer kids.
