South Florida Hotel
I would like to stay at a really nice hotel anywhere between Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach. What's important to me is a great beach and pool area. Any suggestions?

My Dad and brother live in South Florida and they like to stay
Aqualina in Miami beach...

Yes, that would help ... I know that the Aqualina is very pricey.

I just returned from the St Regis Ft Lauderdale and loved it. Aqualina was another choice we had considered. It looks very nice but we weren't renting a car and needed to be able to walk to restaurants if need be.
