Snow Making Has Stated

Loveland pass ski area was making snow last night. Could be skiing in 30 days or less.

We got the real stuff last night in Northwest Montana in the higher elevations.
Will probably be 60 days though before we are able to ski.

We have had several snows above 10,000 ft. A couple of the resorts will try for the second or third week of October to open. Won't be in full swing until mid November.

Jackson Hole is of course in Wyoming. I've lived in NW Montana for 17 years and have never been to Jackson Hole. Sorry.
Too much to do here!

I was just hoping that you had popped over there. I belong to a group that has skied together for over 30 years mostly in CO and Utah. We have decided to branch out and some of the more out of the way places -- Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, etc.

Jackson Hole is great. Expensive, but a lot of fun. Very scenic as the Tetons shoot straight up from the valley floor.
