You do NOT want to be in North Charleston- you want to be in the Meeting Street/King Street/The Battery

Those are the areas in Charleston where all the historical stuff is,the carriage rides,great restaurants and tons of stuff to do,

Is the problem with Sheraton North Charleston the distance away from Charleston or that the area is not safe?

It is a rough area. I assume this hotel might be near the interstates. Do you want to see Charleston or are you just passing through.
