When I booked our last trip, I used the shades of green website to check availability, and then called the reservations line to book the dates I wanted and confirm the rate. I did not have to wait long on the phone, either.
B/c the rates are based upon rank, active/retired status, etc, sorting thru the categories can be a little confusing. Its well worth it, though!
Also, if you are Active Duty, save a day for Sea World- its free admission for active duty military and 3 of their family members as part of the Anheuser Busch "Salute to the Heroes" program- we loved it!
