SF night w/teens

On Thurs., 10/12 our family of five will drive from Yosemite and stay at Holiday Inn Express in the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco. We'll have one full day in SF on Friday (doing a 9 hour Dylan's tour) before we fly home on Saturday. Any recommendations for what we should do on that Thursday night with three children ages 11-15 (2 oldest girls)?? Someone had made a general suggestion of doing a cable car circuit and eating in another neighborhood. I'd love to hear some specific ideas.

You can ride on the cable car -$5.00 per person one way, it’s not a “circuit”. Unfortunately, the Alcatraz night tour is sold out that day. I have no other ideas. What time do you expect to get to San Francisco?

JUst saw on the other thread that you’re going to Alcatraz the next day anyway.

Not that this will take long, but if it’s a nice night, do not miss seeing the lit up Bay Bridge. It started out as an art installation, and was so popular, it has become at least semi-permanent, and its spectacular.

The Electric tour company does offer a couple of evening Segway tours - one is through Chinatown. Or just explore Chinatown on your own.

Or -- go to the bottom of Market Street/the Embarcadero to see the bridge view sf7307mentioned then catch the F-Market & Wharves streetcar line along the Embarcadero to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf (yes, I actually said that )
