I remember that heat wave too - I think it was in September. Temperatures that high are damn hot for SF. A couple years ago we went to a reggae festival in GG Park in October during a heat wave. People were actually wearing shorts!

J_Correa, you should have specified that it was "natives" who were wearing shorts, since the tourists do so all the time (to their regret).

Doubtful you will need air conditioning. Frankly, if we ever do get a heat wave it is followed within two to three days of that wave by fog. June is still an unlikely time for such a true heat wave here.

Marilyn - you are so right There are lots of blue-legged tourists wandering around SF in the summer time.
