LOL, yes, Doogers...ick!!! There is a good discussion of this on PortlandFood. When we were in CB last week, all the kids got kids meals from there and honestly, they were the worst looking meals I have seen from anywhere. Our kids wouldn't even touch them...smart kids
I think that any frozen kids meal would have beat these by a mile. You know its bad when even little kids make fun of it

ROFLOL!!! I wouldn't do that to any small animal
Yeah, our kids are older and really mocked the food, but our friends kids are very young, and it truly was one of those moments "out of the mouths of babes" for their comments.

Uhm, some family members were in Oregon; Portland, Lincoln City, Seaside, Cannon Beach etc. some months ago while they were looking for property to buy. After they returned home they commented on some really terrible food they had..a friend took them to a restaurant..guess where she took them to, LOL. I haven't been to oogers, thank goodness!

Whoa- thought it was my (overactive) imagination that Dooger's food had really gotten worse last time.
Guess not! I'll just have to take "Oogers" off my decent seafood list.
#39;( Oh, well, there's still JP's! :-"
"When the kids spit out Doogers, you know it is bad"
Funny, but naaah. Kids are such weird eaters. How about "when my Golden won't scarf Doogers, avoid the froogers for it may give you oogers" instead? LOL- My dogs will eat anything that's remotely edible and unpoisoned!
Current State: Too easily entertained with waaay too much time on my hands!

When we were on the coast a few weeks ago, I noticed that Kalypso (Seaside) and Mango (Cannon Beach) were closed.
The last time I ate at Kalypso, the quality was way down.
We never ate at Mango; every time we gave it a try, we got such a cold reception that we saie, "We're just looking," and moved on.

Seaside has a new Italian restaurant called Taste of Tuscany that was fantastic. It is without a doubt the best thing Seaside has seen in a long time! Great food, service, ambiance and beautiful presentation of everything we ordered.
