Savannah lodging for girls' weekend

Hello! My girlfriends and I will be celebrating my 30th birthday with a long weekend in Savannah this September. There will be 4 of us, and we're looking for lodging that is on the more affordable side ($150ish per night) and where we can all share one room. Would love for this to be in a walkable area of the city as well.

We would try to get a room on Priceline, but since we have 4 guests we can't take the risk of getting a room with 2 people maximum. Does anyone have suggestions? In a perfect world we'd have a place with a little bit of "Savannah charm" but I think we'll be out of luck with most B&Bs.

Thanks so much for any suggestions! I've never been to Savannah and am really looking forward to it.

What about a hotel with ajoining rooms? Hamton Inn on Abercon or The Hyatt? Also I believe there is a Residence Inn with 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. I don't know the street the Residnece Inn is on, but I know it is located across the street from the visitors center.

Tarheels:

six years ago we visited Savannah and lucked into the simply-named "Savannah B and B"...we loved it and have touted it to several friends since. We opted for its carriage house which might be ideal for you four..private entrance in the back of the b and b...we walked everywhere..very pleasant, espedially walking through the 20+ parks to reach downtown. Can't recall what we paid, but we highly recommend..found their web pages:

Thanks so much!

Adjoining rooms would be fine, but we still need to keep the total cost to below $150 per night so I'm not sure if that's doable. Will certainly look into it though!

Staybridge Suites in the Historic District -
GREAT location right on Bay Street
Free breakfast and sometimes an evening snack
Beautiful lobby with comfy seating to hang out or meet
Very nice rooms with kitchette and fridge
The Hampton Inn on Bay used to be my favorite but I have a new favorite now
