Sarasota linen shopping

Best and reasonable aren't necessarily one in the same. There is a fabulous linen shop in the northwest quadrant of St Armand's Circle. Sorry...I'm on line of sight navigation there and don't recall the name of it. It is the best of the best in this area, but not necessarily reasonable! For a spare bedroom, I'd probably find my way to lesser stores, but wanted to let you know that there is something fabulous out there too.

There is a Linens N Things on 41, but in my experience, one can buy top quality luxury linens at TJ Maxx, (if they happen to have what you are looking for.) The other places will have a greater selection, but for a lot more money.

There is a TJ Maxx close to Longboat and its adjacent to Target on Rt 1 and Bashore Rd in Bradenton. It's easy to get to.
As Olive Oyl said there's a magnificent place on St Armands Circle but so far I've only been able to look at it green-eyed.
TJ Maxx and Marshalls now carry a lot of 350 and 400 count linens.
Another high end discounter from the DC area has moved down and that is Tuesday Morning on Cortez Rd in Bradenton as you head out to the beaches.

Do not bypass Burdines, now Burdines-Macy's. They often have some great sales in their linens department. I'm sure there's at least one in the Sarasota area, possibly more. If you're flying into Tampa, there's a Burdines at Westshore Mall about a half-mile from the airport.
