Santa Fe Restaurant

Will be in Santa Fe for two nights in March for a conference. I'll have a business dinner at Geronimo one night. The other night I wanted to go with a friend out somewhere interesting that serves great food -- we'll have a car, so driving to someplace would work. Any suggestions?

Check this out:

marias-santafe.com

It is among my top five restaurants in the world! Blue corn tortillas! Sopapillas! I literally make myself sick when I eat here. It's just so fantastic, with great margaritas to boot.

For moderate and typically New Mexican, I'd choose El Shed (I think they're open at night now), for upscale maybe Santacafe. (Go for El Shed, or at least get there for lunch!)

Hi. Not sure what to suggest -- what do you mean by interesting? Casual or nice? Fine cuisine or local fare? And what night? Some places are better on a weekend that weeknight as far as ambiance. Great club there as well. As soon as I can remember it I'll send it. (owned by the Geronimo guy -- upstairs @ Grant and San Francisco, very hip and it starts with an " s " I think!)

It's called Swig - haven't eaten there, but I hear good things about it.
