San Fransisco Theatre
Went to New York little over a year ago with my boyfriend and saw the 'Rent' on broadway. We loved it and are staying near the theater district in SF in late August so were wondering if there is anything similar in SF (specific play suggestions welcome). If so, are there any ticket booths with discount prices?

American Conservatory Theatre is beginning its season, Aug 25 to Sept.25 eith "The Overcoat", based on fiction by Nikolai Gogot and with music by Shastakovich. It had sold out tours in Europe and Canada.
Another source for finding out what is going on is the Datebook section of the San Francisco Chronicle. It's website is sfgate.com
