San Francisco, The Inn at the Opera

Does anyone have any knowledge of this resort.

We just received a weeks trade for it in March 2008.

Any info is appreciated.

Resort? I know of a nice small (under 50 rooms) hotel by that name that I think has turned "time share" or condo. It's in the arts area of SF. Nice little place, but I wouldn't call it a resort by any stretch of the imagination.

Patrick, sounds like the place I know as a boutique type place, quite comfortable and with a great staff. Have not stayed there in a couple years and this is the first I have heard that it has gone condo.

The condo or time share conversion came to my attention, because there was a unit there on VRBO when I was looking last year. It took a while to figure out that it was The Inn at the Opera.

Sorry, I mis spoke when I said resort. Since it was a timeshare trade, my ind was thinking resort, but I think you have the right place.

We just received the trade and haven't had time to research it. We were going to book a hotewl, but this saves us over $1000 for the week over a hotel.

Thanks for the info.

I'm staying there for a week in November--will report back about it. Meanwhile, you might check out the reviews in Tug2.net--they're pretty good and after all, it IS San Francisco, which IMO is a great place to visit!
