San Diego Beach for a Wedding Ceremony?

Hi - I am getting married this summer and want to have a very small, informal & low-key yet very romantic sunset ceremony on a beach somewhere in the San Diego area. It doesn't have to be affiliated with a hotel. I'm from the East Coast so am unfamiliar with the SD area. Just looking for a quiet little spot to say "I do". Appreciate any help - thanks!

How about La Jolla Cove? Scripps Park? My husband and I were there when there was a wedding going on and it was lovely.

HI Roodee..
I live a block away from the La Jolla "Wedding Bowl" that alot of people get married there..its an oceanfront on the bluff on Coast Blvd with grass and a perfect location.
(619) 235-1169..San Diego Park Service
You can google the name too..
Stay at either the Grande Colonial Hotel for your Honeymoon..
La Jolla is one of the prettiest places to say "I Do"..
Best to you

A friends daughter was married at the La Jolla Cove- its not exactly the beach- its a grassy area next to a beach but its a beautiful setting.
I believe you make reservations through their Parks and Rec dept- ( odd but thats where you go)

There's a gorgeous grassy area just above the beach itself in Del Mar. From the starbucks, go toward the ocean, .. can't miss it.

The beach itself is small and, at high tide, miniscule.
