Russian Tea Room --- NYC

I just recently learned a little about this restaurant. I would like to know more about what looks like an incredibly unique dining experience.

It was never a great restaurant, though it always had a following. It's been reborn, and I've heard that the new chef isn't bad, though it's not a place I'd go to in a million years. If you like Tavern on the Green, then you might like the Russian Tea Room. But unique ... not so much.

Dreadful! It is the Slavic version of Jekyl and Hyde.

Smoke and mirrors, sweetie, smoke and mirrors......

If you are looking for Russian cuisine, Firebird on restaurant row offers a better experience.
Russian Tea Room offers ersatz glitz.
