Yes. I stayed there three years ago and LOVED it! Location is great - near Times Square, theatre district, subway stop right around the corner (I think). But it's an older hotel - (actually historic ) which I found charming. The lobby is stunning, and the rooms are fairly small, but very clean and you won't be spending much time in there anyway.
Have fun.

I am staying at the Roosevelt for 6 night in May, never been to NYC before. I will post a report on it when I get back. I have heard very good things about it though. Do a search for it here on Fodors and at TripAdvisor for more feedback.

Message zoezoe, I stayed there for 3 or 4 nites in mid-December 2003. Arrangements were already made for me to stay there as a condition of the meeting I was attending but it met my needs, clean room, helpful employees, quiet and centrally located. Except for a luncheon and a banquet included in the arrangements I ate elsewhere. The two meals were okay. I enjoy walking and the central location was great. I would consider staying there if in the city for personal visit but would certainly check out prices of other accommodations as well. I believe the Roosevelt has attractive packages/deals including shows. Check out the place on the internet. Dick
