Romantic get-away recommendations for an Atlanta couple

Does anyone have a good spot for a romantic get-away weekend that's drivable from Atlanta? A bed and breakfast is preferable, and we'd like it to be near lots of things to do (Charleston and Savannah have been favorite past trips).

See the Biltmore Estate in Asheville...they have a winery, and accommodations also even though we stayed in a cabin nearby and grilled out and enjoyed the fireplace. Also you can walk and browse art galleries and little shops in town.

How about The Cloister at Sea Island or The Blackberry Farm in Walland, TN.

Have you looked into Callaway Gardens, in Pine Mountain, just an hour from Atlanta? www.callawaygardens.com.

Yes, Asheville. My husband and I go there almost every weekend (we live in Greenville)just for a casual lunch and the superior food shopping it offers.

Yet, a few times a year we still go up there and spend the night, walk around the town, have drinks at all the outdoor cafes, do the art galleries, book stores, hippie stores, indie film center, etc. It's a very walkable town.

There a dozens of B&Bs all around the town. None are right in downtown, but all are a quick drive(5 mins) and you can always get on-street parking if you're a little bit patient.

I recommend Zambra for a romantic but not stuffy evening with great food. Have a drink if the weather is good on the street at the Frog Bar, the Grape Escape, and/or the New French Bar.

Morning coffee and pastry at Blue Moon or if you find a massive fat-laden buffet appealing, try the Grove Park's breakfast. Constance Boutique is my new favorite dress shop.

Blackberry Farms was also a favorite getaway of mine when I lived in Atlanta. Pricey, but worth it.
