This is an area filled with restaurants, some open 24 hours. Within 5 blocks you literally have about 50 restaurants.
I'm not sure Nice Matin will be open at that time, or if that's the kind of meal you want late at night.
What are you looking for?

On the Avenue is actually at 77th & Broadway. For just a bite, the Manhattan Diner is right there. http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/manhattan-diner/

I'm sorry I guess I didn't make myself clear. We will be arriving after 11:30 pm so I am looking for any restaurant close to On The Ave that stays open late. As I said in my previous post we like all kinds of food. I realize there are a lot of restaurants in that area but we are not familiar with any of them. The three of us didn't want to walk around an unfamiliar area at midnight.
Thanks

If you want more of a dinner than a diner, Monaco (mediterranean) on Amsterdam near 80th serves until 1 am - 2 am on Fri and Sat.
Manhattan Diner is fine is you just want somethig basic - burger or omelet or something.
It depedns on where you're coming from and howyuor clock is set - ifyou want a big meal or just a light one.
