Parrotmom - are you kidding - Sean McDonough is staying in Boston? This is the best news I've had all day. He and Remy are the best combo. I really was not looking forward to next season without Sean. Its funny how everyone was down on him when he first started - Daddy's boy and all that. But now he's such a fixture! In a couple of more years he'd be as sacred a cow as Natalie.

Happy to hear McDonough is back. He and Remy do have that great chemistry together. Now the Cardinal has resigned, things are turning around ion Boston. gc..Fenway more of a shrine than Yankee Stadium?I don't know about that.

McDonough had been offered lots of $$$$ to work for the Mets, b ut his family and charity interests are in Boston. Remy and McDonough are a wonderful combo...when you listen to the other clowns announcing you can really appreciate them..Guess there are times when $$ isn't everything... Hate to tell you I remember Curt Gowdy and Sherm Feller...lol (I'mnot in a nursing home-yet)

Well, I went ahead and bought them! Thank you for all of your help and advice. I'm excited to finally see such an exciting game in a place that has so much history. I really appreciate all of your input. Hopefully, we'll see a few balls fly over the wall!

Here's one Yankee fan who would like to visit Fenway before the tear it down and build one of those Camden Yards wannabe's.

I for one like to buy tickest for scalpers on the day of the game. They're always available and I get better seats the they unload at the box office. Get a seating plan to know what you are getting and mke sure the sears are together.

I say to hell with the regular season and go to spring training in Ft Myers. Baseball as it should be- no corporate crap, box seats, paying 60+ for the bleachers.

SSJ - Have a great trip. You will love Fenway - its just us locals that are no longer in love with the place so don't mind us. Make sure you have a sausage from one of the street vendors before the game.
