First of all "reasonable" to one person may be $20/day and to another $75 is reasonable so .....
There is nothing much "quick" when it comes to car rentals because they are all outside the airport and you need to take one of their free shuttles to their office/lots to get the car.
We have rented from Hertz, Alamo and Avis in 'Vegas - all experiences were similar. Depending on time of day, day of week, etc. it can take up to one hr. to get into your rental car. It usually has been less, but it is always good to be prepared just in case you arrive at a particularly busy time of day. Hertz seemed to be the closest, but it was tricky returning the car there. Alamo is the farthest away (along with National) but it is very easy to get in and out of their area.
Traffic in 'Vegas is pretty bad - maybe you would be better off just renting a car for a day or so at your hotel. We frequently do that when we visit 'Vegas. Dollar has desks in most of the major hotels and their rates are very reasonable.

Quick Rental? Hmmmm.
1) Make reservations with A/C and A/T.
2) Have your confirmation # and ID in your hand when you arrive at the rental desk.
3) Take pictures of your vehicle before you leave the lot.
4) Add language to the contract "...various scratches and dents on multiple surfaces on vehicle..." before you sign the document.

Joining the "club" of whatever agency you rent from will certainly make it a lot quicker. We've had great luck and good, quick service from Dollar with their free "fast lane" membership, but felt sorry for the others standing in lines for an hour or more!
