las vegas rental cars at hotels?

Is it possible to pickup a rental car at one of the hotels on the strip? Some of the posted messages vaguely referred to picking up a rental car at a hotel. If so, which hotels have the car rental agencies? That would be easier than at the airport. Thanks.

Although I've never seen a rental car agency desk at any of the major hotels on the strip, I would imagine any of the big agencies will come pick you up to take you to their rental office.

However, although you didn't mention why you need the rental car, you certainly don't need one if you're only going to be in Vegas. I guess if you're inquiring about picking one up at your hotel then you might be driving elsewhere outside the city. Anyway, I believe Enterprise advertises that they'll come pick you up.

When we stayed at the MGM, we rented a car for the day, and we did all the paperwork at the MGM, and the care was in their parking lot, and we picked it up and dropped it off there.

Yes. There is a Budget Rentacar desk at the Flamingo. It is across from the front desk.

I would expect to be able to rent a car at the major hotels on the strip without having to go to an off-site location, though that would be an option.

I just took a look at the Resort Concierge link at the Venetian website. There is an Avis counter there.

At the Mirage webpage it says that there is a Dollar Rent-a-Car in the lobby.

I believe most of the hotels on the strip have rental cars available. I've rented one at Mandalay Bay.

You can rent a car at Treasure Island. I'm not positive, but I think it might be Dollar.

I was at Paris last night and noticed a sign at the parking garage entrance that said something like, "Hertz Rental Return". So, there must be a Hertz desk at Paris.

Dollar has the biggest presence in the hotels on the strip. They're in the following hotels:

Bellagio, Circus Circus, Hilton, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM, Treasure Island, Mirage, Monte Carlo, Sahara, NYNY.

Bear in mind that they usually have limited hours, so you may not be able to pick up/drop off when you like. Also, a lot of rental car agencies will simply pick you up from your hotel and take you to the rental office, if you're far from a location. They'll also drop you off after returning the rental, so you can return the car to the airport, and ask for a shuttle to take you back to your hotel.
