I've been to Put-In-Bay 4 times...what a neat place to go for a day. One of these days I'm going to go there for a 3-day weekend (all my trips there have been just for the day; rented a golf cart to get around). This isn't going to help much, but I ate at a GREAT restaurant there, I just can't remember the name! But if you go on the main street there, it's the ONLY restaurant that looks decent. It's not a burger joint. It's a nice sit-down restaurant with great service. It's in an old house and they have their menu posted out front. We were all over that island and that was the only restaurant that looked "nice".

I just returned from Put-In-Bay. Frosty's is hands down the best place for breakfast, good luck with the crowds. The nicest sit down place is the restaurant attached to the Beer Barrel Saloon, around the corner, I can't remember the name either, but it's good. Everything else is just mediocre. Have fun, this island is definately destination oriented - for drinking only, now I can say I've done it, and now I'm ready to move on to something else!

Lori-Some nice restaurants, Mossbacks across the street from the Boardwalk has good food, basic burgers, fries, salads, specials are good, I have eaten their perogies and walleye. The Crescent Tavern is good for more upscale food as is the restaurant above Parkers Inn, the Erie Isle Tavern (expensive)or the Boathouse. The Skyway isn't too bad out by the airport. The place next to the Beer Barrel is Tippers, the food IMO is hit or miss. They have a seafood buffet on Friday nights and a prime rib on Saturday. T

Huh, Put-In-Bay is an island in Lake Erie between Toledo and Cleveland. The only way you can get to it is by boat or plane. Here is their url:

Lori,
IMO here are the best restaurants in order:
Erie Isle Tavern, Ginny is right, it is a little pricey but well worth it. It is the nicest restaurant on the Island IMO.
Mossback and Crescent Tavern
Boathouse
Skyway
Boardwalk-Go there for drinks and lobster bisque, not for a full dinner.
Frosty's-Breakfast, forget the pizza tastes like cardboard with sauce.
Tippers-Used to be good has went downhill since their cook left.
