Pre Theater Dinner
It's been two years since I've been in New York. I need an update on where to get a good pre-theater dinner, preferably prix fixe, around $30-40 per person. French, Italian, American, etc., but not too "ethnic." We're planning to go to three shows. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check out Ammos on Vanderbilt and 45th St., the 3 course prix fixe is $33 and is a real bargain. Both the food and ambiance are top notch. It's Greek but really Mediterranean, I wouldn't consider it "too ethnic".

Check out Becco, 355 W.46th between 8th and 9th ave.
Trattoria Trecolori: 254 W.47th between 8th and Broadway
Lattanzi: 361 W. 46th Street between 8th and 9th Ave.
Capitol Grille in the Time Life Bldg. 120 West 51st St.
first 3 are Italian; Capitol Grille is, well, a grill.
