I've been on 5 1/2 week vacations...and I still didn't want to come home! So that won't work with me unless I have 3 or 4 months! LOL!

I fight with that feeling a lot, which is why I have been a nomad for the past few years. I have not lived in any one city for more than 3 months, and I am constantly traveling. However, I just recently reached a turning point when I got my immigration papers to Barcelona. I am finally looking forward to settling down and making a home for a while, if not forever.

I don't get post-travel blahs. I get PTSD - post-travel stress disorder

To fight it, I start planning the next trip on the way home!

I get the blahs after every trip. Like Monica said, it's coming back to the drudgery of everyday life. So after every trip, I promise myself that I will change something about my life, but I always slip back into the old familiar groove and everything stays the same. Maybe it's not really so bad!
