Why would you go to Maui when Kauai is available?

Kiahuna Plantation is on the beach although many units are a bit back from the beach. Whalers Cove is beautiful but not really on a beach, more of a rocky cove.

Poipu area is nice! Kiahuna Plantation is nice place to stay as previous poster stated. Nihi Kai has nice units. Check out www.vrbo.com for many different properties. We have used this website several occasions for our trips and found outstanding places at reasonable rates. Good luck and have fun. We stayed at the Embassy Vacation Resort and loved it. Our teen girls preferred Kiahuna because of the location on the beach!
