Please help - Adams Morgan Hotels?

I haven't lived in DC for many years but I am interested to find out if there is a mid-high price hotel within walking distance (less than 1/2 mile) to places such as Tom Toms or Felix (? I think) in Adams Morgan. Any advice would be appreciated!! Thank you so much!!

Your best bet would be either the hotels near the Washinton Hilton and Towers or those at the Woodley Park Metro (Omni Shoreham and such).

I agree with MikeTr, and I know you can get the Omni fairly reasonably at times. Near the Hilton, I think the hotel across from it (used to be Sofitel, is now called the Churchill) might be mid-range. There is a Jury's at the corner of Connecticut and Wyoming which would also be good and is not that expensive.

The Rouge could be fun, but it's a lot farther than 1/2 mile from Adams Morgan, it's down near Scott Circle.

Probably not what you're looking for, but there are also some B&Bs around Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle (I think Kalorama Guest House is on Mintwood, a block or two from 18th & Columbia).

There are no hotels in Adams Morgan. The "Dupont at the Circle" B&B, however, is close enough to walk to Adams Morgan and is in a nice area as well. The Marriott Wardman Park and the Omni Shoreham are both within walking distance as well.
