Dallas Hotels

Hello! I'm trying to decide between the Hilton Dallas/Park Cities (near Northpark) and the Omni Hotel at Park West. Is the Omni in a nice, safe area? Any information about the hotels and areas is appreciated!

Thank you!

TGT...The Omni Park West is in a "nice" tho pretty much business only location. The Hilton Park Cities is more convenient to things to do if that's what you want to do.It is newer as well.Hope this helps.

I would definitely choose the Hilton, unless you need to be out near Las Colinas and the airport. The Hilton is in a fantastic location with plenty of great restaurants (inexpensive to high-end) in walking distance. You're also a short drive to NorthPark, HP Village, downtown, Victory Park. I don't think there would be much to do near the Omni, but I do believe its safe.

Thanks! It's my husband's birthday, so I do want to stay somewhere nice, but we can't really afford the boutiquey hotels. We'd like to be near Northpark, but we do have a car so it's not a requirement. It sounds like the Hilton might be nicer since it's newer.

That Hilton is nice and next to a great area to walk around - Preston Center. As mentioned, lots of restaurants to choose from. I'd choose the Hilton.
