Places to stay in Key West for honeymoon and under $100

I am on a budget for my honeymoon and we are going to be going to Key West for the five days and South beach for 5 days. I know South Beach is expensive and there really isn't any way around it, so i figured I would save money in Key west. Any suggestions?

This should be easily doable via priceline with a resort along the beach. Depending on the time you're going, you could also probably do south beach for under $100.00. Go to www.biddingfortravel.com and find out what previous resorts and dollar amounts have been accepted. You can also get bidding help but you must read the HOTEL FAQ and fill out a bid request form. Definitely doable. Best of luck.

What time of year is your honeymoon? If it's during the summer months, that'll make lots of difference in Key West.

Try the Southernmost hotel in K.W. (oldtownresorts.com)Very clean and fun- on Duval at the quiet end but you can still walk to all restaurants, etc. I have stayed there about 6 times - they have 4 different properties - there is one on the beach too that is newly remodelded. I would call and ask if they have a "honeymoon Special" As far as South Beach goes, you can find great deals - especially in summer. If you stay on Collins Ave. (1 block in from Ocean Dr. you will find better rates) Anywhere from 1-15th st. and you can still walk everywhere In south beach. Have fun!

Depends on the time of year. We stayed in a hotel in South Beach for around $100 at the beginning of June last year - and that was booked directly with the hotel. Same goes for KW.

I think Key West is much more expensive than South Beach. Maybe you would have an easier time reversing your thought process on how to save money.

You should be able to stay in both places for under $100. I've stayed at Jasmine House a few times in one of their "porchside" roomd - very nice and it was about $90 - would likely be cheaper during the summer months.

I will be in Key West from Aug 25 to Aug 29. I am going to be staying at the Sagamore hotel in South Beach for $159. I would like to make the Key West stay a little less expensive that is why I need a hotel for under $100 in Key West.

Thanks

I have reservations at Eaton Lodge for $105/nt. They advertise they start at $95. Breakfast and they have a free bar in the late afternoon. Check them out. Half block off Duval on Eaton St.

Of those mentioned by Heartburn3, Ambrosia or Harbor Inn would be at the top of my list.
