Places to eat in Duck, NC OBX

Will be spending a couple of days in Duck and am looking for suggestions of places to eat. Anything from casual to fancy but good food.

I signed in to Fodors to post a question and what a coincidence to see your question! I live in Kitty Hawk.
My son a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
Before college he worked for years at Elizabeths Cafe' Duck. This restaurant is phenomenal with an impressive wine cellar, incredible chef (Brad Price) and a string of awards!
My second choice on the beach is Colington Cafe' in KDH.
Always another fine dining experience.
Enjoy your visit to our beautiful OB

My favorite is Steamers in Corolla, a 15 minute ride from Duck. It is in the Tim Buk II Shopping Area. Go inside and order your food. Then eat at picnic tables on the deck next to the mini golf. We really love their food, especially the scallops.

We also like Sunset Grill in Duck, it does get crowded so we either go late or early for lunch or dinner.

I recommend the Rundown Cafe in Kitty Hawk. It's good!

Drive a little north, up to Sanderling for an upscale meal.
