Can anyone recommend a couple of good restaurants in Stellenbosh? I will be there for 3 nights in February with my husband and 2 daughters (both over 18 and love good food!) Any price range but not very formal. Thanks for the help.
Check out www.winemag.co.za for restaurant reviews. Stellenbosch has lots of good restaurants.

Thanks Leann, will do.
We had a nice dinner at Fishmonger when we were there. Good seafood, great wine, excellent service. Not to fancy -- very comfy.
We also had a nice lunch at what I can only remember as a beer garden. There was a large beautiful outdoor area with many tables with umbrellas (it was a sunny bright fall day) and the vines hanging overhead were filled with purple, red and black leaves that contrasted wonderfully with that amazing sky. We had a good lunch there and enjoyed the people watching as well. It seemed to be a favorite of locals. If anyone recognizes this place? It may have served Italian food.

I am a big fan of Terroir (Kleine Zalze wine estate). It's upmarket but the atmoshpere is very cosy.
Other ones to consider: Overture (Hidden Valley Wine estate) and Rust en Vrede (Rust en vrede wine estate).

Yes, Fishmonger was good!
We also liked De Volkskombuis, Cape Malay cuisine. http://www.volkskombuis.co.za/volkskombuis/intro.php
We loved The Blue Orange for lunch. It was at Dorpstraat, right across from Oom Samie Se Winkel.
A lot more restaurants can be found on http://www.dining-out.co.za/
