Phoenix Hotel Waterfront Ivy

I haven't stayed there, but drive by it often. It used to be an apartment complex. It backs up to a canal which I guess is the Waterfront. The location isn't bad-it's in Scottsdale close to Fashion Square and old town, right behind the Sunburst. Its not one of Scottsdale swanky resorts but the price should be more reasonable.

We have stayed there several times (and will be staying there again soon), and like it very much. it used to be an apartment building for winter visitors, so physically it is not like a typical hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are many little touches that make it feel very homey. The location along the canal makes it quiet and peaceful feeling. The breakfast room and patio are very pleasant. I highly recommend it.

Thank you both very much for giving me a little insight. I'm in no hurry to decide on a hotel as I won't be in the area until mid May, but this is helpful. While I have you here...any comments on a Scottsdale property called Chaparral Suites?
