Why not have them take the subway in/out? Otherwise you would be fighting lots of traffic. Assuming they have cell phones, the risk if they stay together is probably minimal - there will be mobs of Eagles fans on the trains to and from. Try www.Septa.org . They'd want to take the Broad Street Line to the Stadium, can connect from a regional rail line.

I'm not sure there's any "good" place, but you could have them walk over to the Holiday Inn near the stadium, and you could pick them up there.
You'd want to take (I think) exit 19 off of I-95 to Pattison Ave., pick them up and then head back out Pattison to 95.

If you are coming from the North, take I-95 South and get off at Exit 17, Broad Street. Let them out at that light right off the ramp, and turn left on Broad St. like you were heading into the old Phila Naval Shipyard. You go right underneath the over pass, and keep left, you can get right back on 95 and head North. Picking them up, have them meet you at the gate entrance to the Naval Shipyard. From there, you can hop right back on 95 with no problems at all.
Should be a good game.

I agree with Andrew -- they may find it easiest to take the subway to Broad & Pattison. It will be mobbed with Eagles fans, so it should be safe. Then, after the Eagles crush the Falcons, they can just follow the smiling Eagles fans out of the stadium and back onto the subway.
If you decide to drive them in, it will probably be easiest to drop them off, spot a landmark you can both see, and decide to meet up again there. Especially since the arenas have so many exits, I usually find that easier than saying, "You know when you come out of the arena and there's that statue by the lamppost...?"

We used to tailgate there for Army-Navy games before they closed it. We used to joke on the way to the Vet that it was a "2-beer walk," but we stopped and goofed off with tailgaters on the way. It's really not that far, and it's kinda out of the way to get in/out of vs. some of the other streets surrounding the stadium.
