I am taking my 17 yr.old son to see the Eagles on Sunday. love some suggestions for Sat day and b4 the game Sunday. Where to get Eagle's stuff. Any sports bar that he can go to with me on Sat. night? Where to eat not too $$$ and what is better hotel for the rooms and locations. Marriot or Raddison Warwick. Appreciate any suggestions and itinery help. How to get to Lincoln stadium and to run the steps of the Art Museum. Do we need tickets for Independance Hall. Thanks in advance. carolyn

Well, our transportation system is on strike right now which makes getting around a bit harder. I'll let the people who know the train system help you out with that.
Yes, you have to get tickets for Independence Hall in advance. Go to the Visitors Center to get your tickets. Go early because the ticket will give you a specific time to come back. The earlier you get to the Visitors Center, the better chance you have of getting a time you want. Check out www.gophila.com

Normally I tell people to take the Orange Line to the sports complex, but, as noted above, this mode of transit is shut down for the foreseeable future. Thus, you'll either have to drive your car or take a cab -- neither of which will be inexpensive or fast. However, the Philly Phlash is still up and running, so you should have no problem getting from Center City to the Art Museum. Note that admission to the museum is "pay what you want" on Sundays, so you may want to go inside and see the art while you're there.

Eagles stuff is available at just about every store imaginable -- I wouldn't be surprised to find a shop advertising "XXX Porno DVDs and Eagles Souvenirs."

thanks for the hints, any dinner or hotel suggestions that would not require too much travel. Obviously though I do not want to stay near the stadium want to be in the hub of walking and restaraunt choices. Marriot or Radisson thanks
