Parking for Logan Airport

I am flying out of Logan Airport in Boston on Thur. I was going to try the Logan Express in Braintree but when we fly back into Boston next wk our plane will be arriving at midnight. Apparently they stop the shuttles at midnight. Does anyone have any ideas? We will be coming up 24N. I heard there was a parking lot in Dorchester. Does anyone know about that? I just don't want to park inside the airport because it is so expensive. Thanks...Ann

What do you consider expensive? Logan has an economy lot that is $18/day. It operates 24-hr; but the shuttle runs about every 15 mins or so. We've parked there once and it's fine. http://www.massport.com/logan/parki_ecolt.html

These days, if we drive, we usually park @ Pre-flight in Chelsea. It is 24-hr. The shuttles are much more frequent than the Logan Economy parking, but since the lot is farther away, the total time works out approx the same. PreFlight also picks you up/drops you off at your car and the driver usually (not always) help w/luggage. For Logan Economy, you have to walk to the stop (not far) and haul your own luggage. PreFlight rate is the same as Logan Economy, but if you print the web coupon, you get 20% off. http://www.preflightparking.com/BOS.aspx

The Thrifty lot is "valet" with shuttles that run every five minutes for $18/day, $103/week. And, there's a 10% discount coupon on the website.

I use Park, Shuttle and Fly, which has 24 hour on-demand shuttle service and is really close to the entrance to the airport on Route 1A.

I don't think Dorchester or any commuter lots will work for you since Silver Line and Blue line don't run past 12:30am, if your flight is just a bit late coming in you'd be in trouble.

When we have very early flight out or a late flight back to Logan and we will be gone for fewer than 10 days we book a Park-Stay-Fly package room at the Courtyard Marriott http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...logan-airport/
I usually runs about $200 for the stay and the parking. They have a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport and deliver you to the hotel. Depending on the length of your parking stay, this arrangement might work for you.
