Park city lodging

I am taking my 2 adult children sking im utah we are planning on staying the weekend part of the trip in Park City. Looking for recommendation on where to stay.
the decsion criteria we are considering is as follows

1) Walking distance to lift for Park City.

2) Close to downtown area -Resturants/Bars ( ideally walking distance or near the shuttle)

3) Nice hotel with pool/jacuzzi

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the Marriott. Park City lift across the street. Used Marriott points. Very convenient.

I think the Marriott to which Ronda refers is actually ON Main Street (there are two - one is on Main Street and one is at the ski area, only a few minutes apart from each other). Note that this is a timeshare, not strictly a hotel. So the unit is more like a small apartment, which I think is great (although it can be just a room -- they call it an "efficiency" -- I think the choice is efficiency, 1 BDR, 2BDR). I don't think they have everyday housekeeping if that matters to you. Great location.

We stayed at the Grand Galleria--one lobby door was to main St and the other was across the street from the treansportaion center, where we could get the bus to PC, Deer Valley, and The Canyons.

Yes, you are right SF, Marriott on Main Street called Summit Watch. We couldn't get in at Summit Watch last year so stayed at Marriott Park City on Sidewinder Drive. It wasn't right at the ski area but there were many restaurants right in the area as well as shopping and a Whole Foods. No kitchen though. The hotel was pretty nice. Standard great Marriott beds.

Steve,

Start here: www.parkcityinfo.com

Options are endless. Almost anywhere you stay is close enough to the lifts or free shuttles to everywhere. Just ask the property you are interested in how close they are to the shuttle stop.

There are 3 resorts in Park City, Park City Mtn. Resort, Deer Valley, and The Canyons. Shuttles go to all.

Hi Ronda!!
