Lodging in Park City Utah?

Will be there for a wedding at Deer Valley Resort in early August. Would like to spend less than $200 a night. Should we stay in one of the resort lodges or in town? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!

The Radisson is nearby. You could probably get a good deal there in August. It's nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. It includes an excellent breakfast and there's indoor/outdoor pool and hottub.

Hi D,

Even in summer, you will have a hard time finding a room under $200 in DV. If you are willing to stay in Park City area or Kimball Junction, there are several reasonably priced choices. Besides the Raddison, look at The Yarrow Hotel, The Marriott Prospector Square, The Park Regency.

In Kimball Junction there is a Best Western, a Holiday Inn Express and a Hampton Inn. Not a very atmospheric area, very commercial, but inexpensive.

Have fun!

On the other side of the mountain from Deer Valley there is a town called Heber City. The room prices are about half that of Park City. Its about a half hour drive. Been there several times.

We stayed at the Marriott in town for a Deer Valley wedding last year. It was the Marriott condos and they were really nice and about $159 a night. They are well located near the shuttles and everything in town.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I decided to go with a B&B (authentic Park City experience). Just booked at the Washington School Inn on Park Ave for $120 a night. Will report back on how it was!

Dan,

You will be very pleased with the Washington School Inn. I have not stayed there myself, but have a lot of friends who give it high praise.
