Does anyone else have any more details about this hotel? It isn't even in the Fodor's "hotel review" section which troubles me...
We have a three night freebie to use and this is the only hotel that is offered in the PS area.
Thanks, T.

Hi Tiff.
It isn't a great hotel. I would put it closer to 2.75 - 3 stars. It isn't a bad place---it just shows its age a bit even though it has been redone a few times. It is also a little off the beaten path in North Palm Springs, i.e. not walking distance to downtown and all the restaurants, bars, shops etc.
If you were shelling out $$, I would say go elsewhere. But as a "freebie" it would be worth it.

Hi Dina4 ~ We did stay there. It was a freebie.
The Good ~ The pool area is actually huge. It is nothing fancy with waterfalls or anything, but it was a huge pool, lots of chairs, enoughroom for all.
The Bad ~ There was not an elevator in the wing we stayed in, but if that is not troublesome to you, then it wouldn not be a big deal.
This hotel gave me a feel for what Plam Springs may have been like back in the Rat Pack era. It was very clean, but outdated, but it was fine for a couple days, and again a lovely pool area.
I think PS Local's review was very accurate.
Hope that helps, Tiff
