I would not stay at the Grand Floridian or Portofino or Royal Pacific. Although they are all wonderful hotels, it sounds like you are looking for relaxation and pampering. Those hotels will be filled with children visiting theme parks.

If you want relaxing I wouldn;t do the Grand Floridian. We have eaten there twice - but never stayed - and I had assumed it would have fewer kids . It doesn;t. there are still hordes of kids - many of them young - and not mannerly yet. So - not a very relaxing place at all.

The Ritz and JW Marriott are both booked for my days. The Grand Bohemian downtown looks lovely. I'm leaning that way. I think I want to avoid the Disney and Universal properties as she has lived there forever and goes often to the parks. I'd like to try something different.
