Orlando in the rain
I'm headed to Orlando this Saturday with my 3 & 6 year old boys. We are going to be there until Tuesday. The forecast for Sunday, our first full day, is rain. I realize that can change by Sunday but if it doesn't, does anyone have any suggestions for things to do indoors in Orlando with two young kids?

Definitely go to Downtown Disney to the Virtual Reality park. Darn, what's the name -- Vision Quest or something like that. Anybody recall? It's all indoors and one whole floor is a food court. You pay one price then all the games are free. There are a couple of high-end virtual reality "games" that are fascinating. There's something there for all ages (bumper cars!) even adults. And it's very safe. Highly recommended.
There are other buildings in downtown Disney, stores and restaurants, and your pass into whatever the virtual reality place is called is good so you can leave and come back.
I hope somebody knows what it's called. This is embarassing.

You will really enjoy it.

Disney World in the rain is actually kind of fun...they have fun Disney parkas that can be purchased! You can zip in and out of Epcot's various pavilions, catch some of the shows, like Festival of the Lion King and It's a Bug's Life. Call Priority Seating and see if you can get a last-minute cancellation at a Character Breakfast when people cancel 24 hours prior.
Don't worry about a bit of rain; take advantage of the fact that others will be staying indoors.
Best Regards,
Julia
